Landscaping woas...

I have been trying to work on my landscaping skill but always find that my landscapes look like a background in a cartoon. Too many years watching bugs bunny I guess, if anyone can give me some pointers I am all open to ideas...

I STARTED MY ART BLOG!!!!!

A very dear friend has been asking me to start this for a long time..and I resisted yes resisted until I saw what wonderful people she has met over the years and how well her art work a=has been responded to.

I have been more drawn to painting ppeople..lately I have been inspired by various artist like Cindy DiBlasi( well she has always inspired me..) and Cathy Harville http://www.harvilleart.com/ her way of using color in a landscape is captivating...

I now have tried my hand at landscapes and am not impressed this last portrait I worked on included a pond scene thatI could not capture granted I was working from a bad photo but I would truly love some feed back
